Make room for a shared family vision

A practical reflection for your next development conversation.

01

Begin with an invitation to listen. Ask each person what helps them feel respected, supported and able to contribute. Let each person describe their experience without requiring everyone to see it the same way.

02

Explore expectations together. Which responsibilities are clear, and which have simply been assumed? Discuss how time, care and everyday commitments can reflect mutual respect and the needs of the people involved.

03

Choose one small agreement that everyone affected can freely support. It might be a regular check-in, a clearer division of a shared task or protected time together. Return to the agreement to hear what is working and what needs to change.
